The weigh-in for the most anticipated fight of the year took place today in front of 6,000 fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Both Floyd Mayweather Jr. (146lbs) and Shane Mosley (147lbs) hit the welterweight limit on their first try on the scales.
The weigh-in was jam-packed with 6,000 fans in attendance to view the fighters hitting the scales. Even with the size of the crowd, which was every bit as big as other events, it lacked passion of weigh-ins like Pacquiao-Hatton or Pacquiao-Cotto. There were no banners or flag waving going on as both fighters are from the US, however when prompted to cheer for who they want to win, it seemed pretty close to a 50/50 split.
Mosley took to the scales first, and hit the welterweight limit of 147lbs. As usual, he looked in excellent shape and very relaxed.

Shane Mosley looked relaxed and in fantastic shape at the weigh-in for his fight against Floyd Mayweather today.
Mayweather was in equally good shape, and looked cocky and confident as always.
The stare down was standard fare, however instead of Mayweather doing the talking, Mosley was the one doing all the jawing, but it went no further other than talking.

The two fighters faced off for the final time today before their megafight showdown tomorrow night in Las Vegas, NV.
